James graduated with a B.Mus. from Lawrence University in music education and trumpet performance in 2006. He has been teaching band at a K–12 charter school since 2007. He is married with three sons who will help make a family brass quintet as soon as they are old enough.

Matt has just started his degree at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester (England), and he is also a Bass Trombone player with the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain!

Will is a young trumpet player specialising in jazz, and one day he hopes to become a professional player. He has been composing for about 2-3 years.
